Type of Race

This race takes place at the University of North Carolina, Wilmington and is a terrific course for spectators. Competitors start at the UNCW Track, they run 1.5 miles around the campus returning to the track where they stuff themselves with a half dozen doughnuts in front of the crowd. The competitors then run another 1.5 miles around campus finishing back at the track.

Divisions

COMPETITIVE EATERS – Must complete six donuts before heading back out for the last mile and a half.  This division is the only divisions available for individual awards and intestinal issues.

UM, NO THANKS – You like the idea, but just want to eat a few and take the rest with you for the second half of the run.  Not qualified for individual awards or associated medical problems.

Team Awards will be given for LARGEST and MOST SPIRITED teams.
