2020 Run for the Arts Results (Virtual)

Come join the Brunswick Arts Council for the inaugural Run for the Arts 5K. The goal of this race is to promote the arts by bringing athletes, artists and the community together for a fun and creative event at Holden Beach.

At the finish line – pick up a paint brush & spread a little color with mural artists, Gaeten & Nancy, on a new Under the Sea themed mural to brighten the public restrooms at the Holden Beach Park.

About the Cause

The Brunswick Arts Council is dedicated to the arts – making cultural events, arts education & appreciation of the arts available to the diverse range of county residents. The proceeds from this race will help support arts grants, scholarships and programming services across Brunswick County.

MEDALS: All race participants will receive one at the finish line!

This 5K course will take participants through Holden Beach, featuring scenic water views of both the Ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway. The race will then finish back at the track inside the park.

This race course is also stroller and wheelchair friendly!
However, dogs are not allowed on this course so please leave them at home or with a non-running spectator.

Waiver: The Registration Agreement & Liability Waiver is linked to the Online Registration. This must be selected and approved during registration.

Packet Pick-Up: Family or Friends may pick-up your Race Packet at Packet Pick-Up.

On-Site Registration: Registration is available starting one hour prior to race start. It closes 20 minutes prior to start.

Timing: Jaguar Bib Chip Timing will be used to time this race

Weather: This race is rain or shine. It will be postponed, rescheduled or cancelled if a severe weather warning is in effect.

Refunds: There are no refunds, registration will be accepted as a donation.

Entries are not transferable to other races Timed by Go Time as each race is organized by a different group.
We must stick to this policy as race items have been purchased based on current registrations and it is not fair to choose who receives a refund and who does not.
