Description of Race:
The Inaugural Wilmington Race for the Cure® will be held Saturday, March 2, 2013 in Downtown Wilmington North Carolina. All fees are non-refundable and non-transferable, even in the event of inclement weather. The Race is a 5K (3.1 miles). 90% of our registrants choose to walk rather than run the 5K. We also offer a one mile walk.

Who we are:
The Race for the Cure is the Susan G. Komen’s major fundraising event of the year that celebrates survivorship; honors those who have lost their battle, and most importantly, raise funds and awareness for the fight against this life threatening disease.
