Run for a Cause! Join us for a fun 5K beach run in beautiful Surf City and help feed our local community in need (proceeds benefit Share the Table). Enjoy the cool ocean breeze and great beach views as you compete to win!

About the Cause

Share the Table, Inc. is a faith-based nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization supported by seven charter churches, community churches, civic organizations, and local businesses in Pender and Onslow counties in North Carolina. Through our free community meal, food pantry and school backpack programs, we are feeding over 1,000 Pender and Onslow country residents per week. It is an honor to help those in need in our community.

Race Swag

All participants who register for the race will receive an awesome reusable water bottle from Share the Table! 

This race course starts and finishes at the Roland Ave. Beach Access, right near the Surf City pier. Enjoy a nice 5K run in the sand as you take in the beautiful ocean views. After you cross the finish line, participants are welcome to take a dip in the ocean!

Parking will be available across the street from the Roland Ave. Beach Access and up and down North Shore Drive.

FAQ & GUIDELINES

Waiver: The Registration Agreement & Liability Waiver is linked to the Online Registration. This must be selected and approved during registration.

Packet Pick-Up: Family or Friends may pick-up your Race Packet at Packet Pick-Up.

On-Site Registration: Registration is available starting one hour prior to race start. It closes 20 minutes prior to start.

Timing: Jaguar Bib Chip Timing will be used to time this race

Weather: This race is rain or shine. It will be postponed, rescheduled or cancelled if a severe weather warning is in effect.

Refunds: There are no refunds, registration will be accepted as a donation.

Entries are not transferable to other races Timed by Go Time as each race is organized by a different group.
We must stick to this policy as race items have been purchased based on current registrations and it is not fair to choose who receives a refund and who does not.
