2019 Turkey Trot Results

The Inaugural Fayetteville Turkey Trot will give the entire community the opportunity to come together and celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday before heading home to cook and spend the day with family and friends. With two distance options of a timed 5K or an untimed 1 Mile there will be a competitive aspect of the event with Overall, Age Groups Awards, and a Team and Individual Costume Contest. Non-competitive participants can enjoy a walk through scenic downtown Fayetteville before a day of large portions, football and shopping.

About the Causes

The Fayetteville Turkey Trot is proud to give back to the community this Thanksgiving through a food drive benefitting Second Harvest Food Bank! Please bring non-perishable food items to the race to donate. Pet food is accepted too!

This race also proud to support the Fayetteville Woodpeckers Fund, a component of The Astros Foundation {501(c)(3) registered charity. The Woodpeckers are committed to the betterment of the City of Fayetteville and its surrounding communities. At the Fund’s core, the Community Leaders Program will facilitate the team’s investment of time, energy, and resources in support of youth sports and military service members and their families.

 Race Shirts will be guaranteed to participants who register by 11:59 PM on Friday, October 25, 2019. The shirts are available in Youth S-M and Adult Unisex S-XXL cut sizes, and are from Without Limits.

Participants will start inside the stadium and make their way around downtown Fayetteville before finishing back inside the stadium. Course highlights for 5K participants include the Airborne & Special Operations Museum, Market Square and Festival Park.

This race course is also stroller friendly, but we do recommend you preview the course due to some uneven surfaces. However, dogs are not allowed on this course OR inside the stadium so please leave them at home or with a non-running spectator (must stay outside of the stadium).

FAQ & GUIDELINES

Waiver: The Registration Agreement & Liability Waiver is linked to the Online Registration. This must be selected and approved during registration.

Packet Pick-Up: Family or Friends may pick-up your Race Packet at Packet Pick-Up.

On-Site Registration: Registration is available starting one hour prior to race start. It closes 20 minutes prior to start.

Timing: Jaguar Bib Chip Timing will be used to time this race

Weather: This race is rain or shine. It will be postponed, rescheduled or cancelled if a severe weather warning is in effect.

Refunds: There are no refunds, registration will be accepted as a donation.

Entries are not transferable to other races Timed by Go Time as each race is organized by a different group.
We must stick to this policy as race items have been purchased based on current registrations and it is not fair to choose who receives a refund and who does not.
