6:30 p.m. – 5K
Please plan to be at the start line by 6:20 p.m. wearing your race number on the front of your shirt. Walkers and strollers are asked to line up behind the runners.
ABOUT THE RACE
Help the Wilmington Hammerheads kick of its 2015 USL season at the Wilmington Hammerheads 5K at Legion Stadium! After the race, meet the Wilmington Hammerheads and get your picture with the team. Activities also include face painting, chance to purchase Hammerheads season tickets, vendors, food and drinks.
A canned food drive will be held during the race to benefit the Good Shepherd Center of Wilmington, so bring a canned food item to show your support.
ABOUT THE CAUSE
The Wilmington Hammerheads 5K is helping raise money for the Good Shepherd Center of Wilmington, a housing and homeless shelter. The team will be accepting cash donations and holding a food drive during the race. Be sure to bring a canned food item with you to the race.

THE COURSE
PARTICIPANT PERKS
RACE SHIRTS:
Participants who register by March 9, 2015 are guaranteed a cotton/polyester blend race shirt. Sizes include Youth and Adult. The adult shirts are unisex cuts.
Shirts will be available to participants who register after March 9, 2015 on a first come first serve basis starting at packet pickup.
HAMMERHEADS TICKETS:
Each participant receives a general admission ticket to the Wilmington Hammerheads season opener. (date to be determined)
AWARDS
♦ Top Overall Male and Female Finishers receive a prize pack
♦ Top 3 5K Finishers in Male and Female Age Groups to receive a medal: 7 & under, 8 – 10, 11 – 13, 14 – 19, 20 – 29, 30 – 39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+

Pre-registered participants may pick up their race numbers and shirts at packet pickup listed above. For those who wish to register in-person, you may do so at any packet pickup listed above.

PARKING
Parking is available in the parking lot at Legion Stadium. Parking will be unavailable in the back field.
FAQ & GUIDELINES
Waiver: The Registration Agreement & Liability Waiver is linked to the Online Registration. This must be selected and approved during registration.
Packet Pick-Up: Family or Friends may pick-up your Race Packet at Packet Pick-Up.
On-Site Registration: Registration is available starting one hour prior to race start. It closes 20 minutes prior to start.
Timing: Jaguar Bib Chip Timing will be used to time this race
Weather: This race is rain or shine. It will be postponed, rescheduled or cancelled if a severe weather warning is in effect.

Entry Fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.
