Band members will be playing motivating music for runners and walkers along the course of the race/ walk. Enjoy a beautiful morning at Hugh MacRae park, with azaleas blooming and music from our talented band students, including our award winning marching band brass, woodwinds, percussion and color guard.
About the Cause
The goal of our race is to promote awareness of the importance of music education in all schools and to support the band programs at John T. Hoggard High School. The Hoggard band programs include marching band and color guard, concert and symphonic bands, and the jazz band.
Proceeds for the race go to the Hoggard Band Booster Club, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose mission is to provide support and promote the musical endeavors of the JT Hoggard High School band programs. All donations and money received from the race will directly benefit the band programs.

Shirts will be guaranteed to participants who register by 11:59 PM on Tuesday, March 12, 2019. The shirts are available in Youth S-M and Adult Unisex XS-XXL cut sizes, and are a Cotton/Polyester blend.

The course follows the walking path through Hugh MacRae Park, and will give beautiful sighting of the spring flowers in bloom and the park’s ponds. It is a very flat and fast course.
This course is also stroller and wheelchair friendly!

Waiver: The Registration Agreement & Liability Waiver is linked to the Online Registration. This must be selected and approved during registration.
Packet Pick-Up: Family or Friends may pick-up your Race Packet at Packet Pick-Up.
On-Site Registration: Registration is available starting one hour prior to race start. It closes 20 minutes prior to start.
Timing: Jaguar Bib Chip Timing will be used to time this race
Weather: This race is rain or shine. It will be postponed, rescheduled or cancelled if a severe weather warning is in effect.
Refunds: There are no refunds, registration will be accepted as a donation.
Entries are not transferable to other races Timed by Go Time as each race is organized by a different group.
We must stick to this policy as race items have been purchased based on current registrations and it is not fair to choose who receives a refund and who does not.
