Run or walk the 5K! The 5K is timed. Strollers are welcome, we just ask you line up behind the runners.

6:30 p.m. – Mayfaire’s Music on the Town with Mchine Gun Band (free)
8:30 p.m. – NHRMC Physician Group Let’s Glow 5K
9:30 p.m. – After Glow Party at Fox & Hound
Please plan to be at the race start line by 8:20 p.m. wearing your race number on the front of your shirt. Walkers and strollers are asked to line up behind the runners.
ABOUT THE EVENT
ROCK ON! Centered in the retail capital of southeastern North Carolina, the electricity begins with Machine Gun Band at 6:30 p.m. at the Mayfaire Event Field. This free concert is the kick-off to Mayfaire’s Music on the Town summer series. Machine Gun has been together for more than 10 years. Based out of Wilmington, NC, the band has an impressive, tight rhythm section mixed with tremendous guitar virtuosity and vocals. Get ready to rock out to the 70s, 80s, and 90s.
GET YOUR GLOW ON! The night lights up after the concert with the NHRMC Physician Group Let’s Glow 5K. The Let’s Glow 5K is an electrifying, after-dark, family-centered, illuminating athletic event. Yep, it’s all that!
Get ready to run (or walk) through a series of Glow Zones with neon lights, LEDs, and music. This format is all inclusive, and encourages participation from all levels of fitness and ages.
KEEP GLOWING! The electricity continues with the Fox & Hound After Party at Mayfaire. Decked out in glow, Fox & Hound will be providing free food and drink specials to Let’s Glow 5K participants. $6 Top-shelf Long Island Ice Teas are sure to put a glow on your face. But that’s not all. 10% of sales will be donated back to the cause.
ABOUT THE CAUSE
Go Time’s goal has always been to give back to the community where we live, work, and serve. We are excited to partner with the NHRMC Physician Group to bring the Let’s Glow 5K to Wilmington, North Carolina. Money raised through this race will benefit New Hanover Regional Medical Center and all the wonderful work the thousands of employees do there every day to benefit us.
New Hanover Regional Medical Center’s role in the community goes beyond taking care of those who walk through its doors. As the region’s largest provider of health care, the hospital not only takes care of all, regardless of ability to pay, but leads efforts to improve health throughout the region, often in the form of preventive services offered at no charge. The hospital is also the area’s largest employer and significantly affects the economy of the area and the livelihoods of thousands of people who make this region home.
New Hanover Regional Medical Center’s commitment to care and the community is evident in its quality, depth of services, and the financial stability that has preserved jobs in unstable times. This pivotal role is made possible through the work of a volunteer board of trustees, staff, volunteers, and physicians.

PARTICIPANT PERKS
RACE SHIRTS:
Participants who register by April 22, 2015 are guaranteed a race shirt. Shirts are available in male and female sizes small, medium, large, x-large. The female shirt does run small. Shirts will be available to participants who register after April 22, 2015 on a first come first serve basis starting at packet pickup.
GLOW PACK:
Get your Glow On! Each participant will receive glow necklaces and bracelets to help electrify the night.
FREE CONCERT:
Kick the evening off with a free concert by Machine Gun Band at the Mayfaire Concert on the Town.
AFTER GLOW PARTY:
Keep glowing after the race at the Fox & Hound After Glow Party. Get free grub $6 Top-shelf LIT’s and continue to support the cause as 10% of sales will be donated back to the cause.

PARKING
Parking is available in the Belk parking lots at Mayfaire Town Center. Please do not park near the Mayfaire Town Center Event Field to prevent congestion on the race course.

Waiver: The Registration Agreement & Liability Waiver is linked to the Online Registration. This must be selected and approved during registration.
Packet Pick-Up: Family or Friends may pick-up your Race Packet at Packet Pick-Up.
On-Site Registration: Registration is available starting one hour prior to race start. It closes 20 minutes prior to start.
Timing: Jaguar Bib Chip Timing will be used to time this race
Weather: This race is rain or shine. It will be postponed, rescheduled or cancelled if a severe weather warning is in effect.
