Come out to Festival Park to celebrate Veteran’s Day with a 5K & 1 Mile. Both races start and end at Festival Park, with the 5K also going through Freedom & Rowan Parks. All participants will receive an awesome commemorative coin at the finish line!
Members of the Cumberland County Veterans Council and other Veterans Organizations with chapters in the County will be asked to participate by having representatives and service officers at Festival Park to answer questions about Veteran’s Benefits, where and how to apply for benefits.

Race Shirts will be guaranteed to participants who register by 11:59 PM on Monday, October 21, 2019. The shirts are available in Youth S-M and Adult Unisex XS-XL cut sizes, and are made of Cotton.

The course will start and end at Festival Park in Fayetteville, NC. Participants will head towards Freedom Park and onto the Freedom Trail, eventually making their way to Rowan Park. The course makes its way to the Linear Park Trail, before finishing back at Festival Park.
This course is stroller friendly, but we do recommend you preview the section in Rowan Park that could be tricky for some strollers before you register. Also, dogs are not allowed on this course or at Festival Park, so please leave your furry friends at home.

Packet Pickup
There is NO pre-race day Packet Pickup for this race. All bibs & swag items must be picked up on race morning during registration.
Please allow enough extra time to pickup your packet before the race starts. Races will start promptly at their designated start times.

Waiver: The Registration Agreement & Liability Waiver is linked to the Online Registration. This must be selected and approved during registration.
Packet Pick-Up: Family or Friends may pick-up your Race Packet at Packet Pick-Up.
On-Site Registration: Registration is available starting one hour prior to race start. It closes 20 minutes prior to start.
Timing: Jaguar Bib Chip Timing will be used to time this race
Weather: This race is rain or shine. It will be postponed, rescheduled or cancelled if a severe weather warning is in effect.
Refunds: There are no refunds, registration will be accepted as a donation.
Entries are not transferable to other races Timed by Go Time as each race is organized by a different group.
We must stick to this policy as race items have been purchased based on current registrations and it is not fair to choose who receives a refund and who does not.
