2018 Great Glow Run Results
The Great Glow Run is a Nighttime 5K Race that draws runners of all ages and abilities to this fun, eye-catching spectacle! Participants dress in their favorite glow gear – headabands, necklaces, LED clothing, body paint, and more – and shine their brightest while creating lasting memories with family and friends. Runners navigate the glowing course with the help of LED lights while illuminated volunteers guide the way. The start and finish areas feature black lights, lighting effects, and energizing music. Come join us as we light the way to the finish line and raise money for Easterseals UCP.
About the Cause
Easterseals UCP is a community based non-profit, and lifelong partner to children, adults and families overcoming disabilities and mental health challenges. We serve as a nurse, a therapist, a social worker, a job counselor, a teacher, a psychologist, a caregiver, and a compassionate friend all rolled into one. Our purpose is to help neighbors in need to achieve better days and live their best possible life.

Race Swag
Participants who register by Monday, February 26, 2018 will be guaranteed a Race Shirt. The shirts are available in Youth S-L and Adult Unisex S-XXXL cut sizes, and are Cotton.
Glow apparel will be available for sale at the Great Glow Store on site!
This 5K course begins in Union Point Park, then winds along the Neuse River through historic New Bern, before finishing under the glowing lights and thumping music in Union Point Park. Strollers are welcome, just encouraged to line up in the rear of the pack at the start.

This event is a Family Fun event that provides something for all ages! Participants can expect music, food vendors, a glow store where everyone can get their glow on, and also a face painting station for all ages. Bring your whole family – they don’t want to miss this!

FAQ & GUIDELINES
Waiver: The Registration Agreement & Liability Waiver is linked to the Online Registration. This must be selected and approved during registration.
Packet Pick-Up: Family or Friends may pick-up your Race Packet at Packet Pick-Up.
On-Site Registration: Registration is available starting one hour prior to race start. It closes 20 minutes prior to start.
Timing: Jaguar Bib Chip Timing will be used to time this race
Weather: This race is rain or shine. It will be postponed, rescheduled or cancelled if a severe weather warning is in effect.
Refunds: There are no refunds, registration will be accepted as a donation.
Entries are not transferable to other races Timed by Go Time as each race is organized by a different group.
We must stick to this policy as race items have been purchased based on current registrations and it is not fair to choose who receives a refund and who does not.
